Kuala Lumpur, 13 July 2023 - The Launch / Meeting of the Operationalisation of the ASEAN SCP Framework was organised by the European Union (EU) SWITCH Asia Programme, in coordination with Indonesia and ASEAN Secretariat. The Launch / Meeting of the ASEAN SCP Framework was attended by representatives from the ASEAN Working Group on Environmental Education (AWGEE), including Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam, and representatives from ASEAN Secretariat and EU / SWITCH Asia Programme. 

This Launch aimed to enhance the ASEAN Member States (AMS) understanding of the ASEAN SCP Framework and on how to engage in implementing the four goals of the ASEAN SCP Framework, namely i) Measure and support progress in SDG 12, ii) Promote sustainable food systems, iii) Establish good practices for green products and procurement (GPP), iv) Promote sustainable lifestyles in urban and rural settings.
